Tipek (Aquaculture) is a functional bioactive peptide product used as a fish feed additive. Its core active ingredient is recombinant Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), gene-engineered and produced via precision yeast fermentation — consistent biological activity, no antibiotic components, no animal-derived inputs, and no drug residue concerns.

The intestinal tract of fish is both the primary site of nutrient absorption and a critical component of mucosal immune defense. EGFR is a 170 kDa transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase that is highly conserved in vertebrates including fish, where it regulates epithelial cell proliferation, differentiation, and intestinal development. Trial 1--Pacific White Shrimp Trial

Trial Design: Shrimp of uniform size and good health status were assigned to a Control Group and a Treatment Group (TIPEK inclusion rate: 1,000 g/t feed).

Location: Zhangzhou, Fujian, China.

Duration: 10 weeks (2025).

Trial 2--Largemouth Bass Trial

Largemouth bass of similar body weight and age were randomly assigned to two groups: a Control Group and a Trial Group. Each group was stocked in a 0.33-hectare pond with 11,000 fish. The trial Group received TIPEK at an inclusion rate of 500 g/t of feed.

  • The treatment group outperformed the control group in both body length and intestinal length, with increases of 1.7 cm and 3.2 cm, respectively, corresponding to improvements of 8.3% and 18.5%, respectively.
  • The treatment group exhibited a 3.6 kg increase in average daily feed intake (ADFI) compared to the control group, representing a 16.1% improvement.
  • The treatment group showed a 0.08 reduction in feed conversion ratio (FCR) compared to the control group.
